Get Excited for the Cary City Swim Meet!

Saturday, July 11th, 7 am - 7 pm (Rain date: July 12th)

Location: Scottish Hills Swim Club

• The Cary City Swim Meet is an invitational swim meet with an emphasis on fun and friendly competition! Unlike our dual meets, this is a very large swim meet with 25+ teams from the TSA attending. We will have a designated team area with tents and decorations to match this year's theme (selected by the coaches)! Individual awards, including medals and ribbons, as well as team trophies, are up for grabs! 
• Parents are required to stay with their children for the duration of the meet. 
• Entry fees apply (see below).
• For 8 and under parents: This meet is best suited for swimmers who can swim a full length of the pool unassisted. No coaches are allowed in the water to assist swimmers.

PLEASE NOTE: We need to provide volunteers to participate in the meet; one parent per family will be required to fill a shift during the meet. We will be assigned roles based on the number of swimmers entered, and shifts will be divided so you do not have to work the entire session. Volunteers are also needed to set up the tents and team area the night before the meet and help with takedown afterwards. Please be on the lookout for more info coming soon!

Relays will be formed when possible; not all swimmers will be placed in relays. Wellsley Wave will cover the cost of relays.

Tentative Schedule:

Morning Session (10 & Unders)

• Warm-ups 7 am

• Meet ends by 12:30 pm

Afternoon session (11 & Ups)

• Warm-ups 1:00 pm
• Meet ends by 7:30 pm (usually earlier)

Entry Fees:

• 7 years and up: $20.00
• 6 and unders: $12.00

Rules:

• 6 and unders may swim up to 2 individual events (only freestyle and backstroke).

• IMPORTANT: 6 and unders swim the entire 25 yards at this meet and must be able to swim unassisted (no coaches are allowed in the water).

• 7 and ups may swim up to 3 individual events (free, back, breast, or fly). You will select these at registration.

Mark your swimmer's attendance in SwimTopia by June 22^rd before 6pm.

No late entries will be accepted. Payment is due by July 1.
